DVB-T (DIGITAL VIDEO BROADCASTING - TERRESTRIAL) is the most widely used standard for digital television in the world.
Based on the broadcasting of digital audiovisual signals, it shares the analogue transmission mode with analog television.

The major difference with analog television is the digital processing of the video signal before its transmission, it is encoded to be then modulated according to very efficient algorithms allowing to optimize it as much as possible on several points:
